JCI Valenzuela Hosts the 3rd Area Council Meeting of JCI Philippines – Area II

JCI Perlas Pasay Joins Leaders from Four Regions in Strengthening Collaboration, Leadership, and Service

VALENZUELA CITY — August 1, 2026. JCI Valenzuela proudly hosted the 3rd Area Council Meeting of JCI Philippines – Area II at the Valenzuela Municipal Hall, bringing together leaders and representatives from Local Organizations across Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Rizal.

Led by Area Vice President Charles Matthew E. Gosingtian, the gathering served as an important platform for JCI leaders to come together, share updates, exchange ideas, discuss organizational matters, and strengthen collaboration toward a more unified and impactful JCI movement.

Understanding JCI Philippines – Area II

For those who may be unfamiliar with the organizational structure of JCI Philippines, the country’s Local Organizations or chapters are grouped geographically into different Areas and Regions. This structure allows chapters to coordinate more effectively, develop leaders, share resources and best practices, and create opportunities for collaboration beyond their individual communities.

JCI Philippines – Area II is composed of four regions: Metro North, Metro East, Metro South, and Rizal Region. Together, these regions bring numerous JCI Local Organizations under one Area, each representing its own city or community while contributing to the collective growth of JCI.

Metro North Region

The Metro North Region is composed of:

As a Local Organization under the Metro South Region, JCI Perlas Pasay continues to actively participate in Area activities and initiatives, strengthening its relationships with fellow chapters while contributing to the broader goals of JCI Philippines.

Rizal Region

The Rizal Region is composed of:

These four regions form a diverse network of Local Organizations, bringing together leaders and members from different cities and communities who share a common commitment to leadership development, active citizenship, and positive change.

A Gathering of Leaders

The 3rd Area Council Meeting provided representatives from the different Local Organizations an opportunity to discuss chapter updates, share experiences, recognize accomplishments, and explore opportunities for greater collaboration.

Beyond organizational discussions, the gathering reflected the importance of fellowship and collective leadership within JCI. Each chapter may have its own programs, priorities, and community advocacies, but the Area provides a space where these individual efforts can connect and contribute to a larger movement.

For JCI Perlas Pasay, participation in Area Council Meetings is an important part of remaining actively engaged within JCI Philippines. These gatherings allow members to learn from fellow leaders, establish meaningful partnerships, exchange best practices, and bring new ideas back to the chapter and the Pasay community.

One Area 2 Elevating, One JCI

The diversity of Area II is one of its greatest strengths. From the communities of Bulacan and Rizal to the different cities of Metro Manila, every Local Organization brings its own identity and experience to the JCI movement.

Yet despite these differences, the chapters remain united by a shared purpose: to develop young leaders and create positive change in their communities and beyond.

The 3rd Area Council Meeting was a testament to the power of bringing these leaders together. Through communication, collaboration, and fellowship, Area II continues to create an environment where chapters can support one another and collectively strengthen the JCI movement.
